Is your proofing box leaking? Try this simple method!
Has anyone encountered this situation: after turning on the proofing box to proofing mode, the humidity display is abnormal, and the water pipe keeps leaking? This is usually because the buoyancy ball in the water tank inside the proofing box is stuck with limescale. When the buoyancy ball is stuck, the proofing box cannot sense the water level, so it keeps adding water, causing leakage.
Solution: First, turn off the power to the proofing box.
Then, remove the protective cover of the proofing box.
Next, gently touch the ring-shaped buoyancy ball in the water tank to see if it can move up and down slightly. If the buoyancy ball cannot move, try loosening it and then gently moving it up and down again.
Finally, turn the proofing box back on and see if the humidity function returns to normal.
If the limescale buildup is severe, you can soak the box with a descaling agent for a while, then clean the water tank with a towel.
